After spending much of the winter and spring engrossed in the film world, Les Claypool has confirmed an extended summer tour with his solo band. The bassist will open his national tour May 23 at Minneapolis, MNs First Avenue and hit most markets across the country through his previously announced July 14 appearance at Masontown, WVs All Good Festival. Along the way, Claypool will make stops at a number of festivals, including Summer Camp, Wakarusa, and High Sierra. While Claypool does have an off day between shows in Atlanta and St. Petersburg, FL on June 14, the first day of Bonnaroo, a quick glace at his schedule suggests that he will miss the festival for the first time. From June 1 through July 3 Two Gallants will support Claypool at each of his none festival appearances. The duo will tour behind its forthcoming acoustic EP, the scenery of farewell, due in stores June 19.
