Continuing our string of New Orleans news leading up to JazzFest, U-Melt will make its Big Easy debut at the end of the month. The New York-based group will appear at the Cafrasil on April 27 as part of the Backbeat Foundations JazzFest series. The gig arrives at the end of the groups southern spring tour. U-Melt will take the stage at 1:30 AM (technically the morning of April 28) as part of a bill which also features guitarist Eric Lindell and Johnny Sketch and the Dirty Notes. U-Melt will support Col. Bruce and The Quark Alliance tonight at Birmingham, ALs Zydeco.
