Govt Mule headlined Denvers Fillmore Auditorium on both Thursday and Friday, jamming with a veteran of its annual New Years Eve run at New Yorks Beacon Theatre each night. As previously reported, on Thursday 2006 New Years Eve performer Toots Hibbert appeared on I’ve Been Lovin’ You Too Long. On Friday another Beacon Theatre run alum, Alvin Youngblood Hart, played guitar on the groups two-song encore of 19 Years Old and Hurts Me Too. Govt Mule will perform at Baton Rouge, LAs Texas Music Hall tonight.
