Danbury, Connecticut first dubbed itself ‘The Hat City of the World’ in the 19th century. Although millinery may now be at a minimum within the city, its early history will be reflected with the Hat City Music Festival on June 8 and 9 (sponsored by Magic Hat, of course). In the spirit of donning a chapeau, the event will feature a number of acts performing the music of other artists. Dark Star Orchestra will interpret the Grateful Dead, I n I will perform the music of Bob Marley & The Wailers and Hindenburg will offer Led Zeppelin. Other artists at the two day free event include: The Bomb Squad, Scarecrow Collection and Electric Mayhem.
