Vidacovich, Denson and Walter
As Jazz Fest rolls on, the festival’s late night entertainment becomes increasingly intriguing. Tonight, a unique trio featuring drummer Johnny Vidacovich, saxophonist Karl Denson, and keyboardist Robert Walter will play a late night set at the Crescent City’s Le Bon Temps Roule. The gig is scheduled to start at 10:30 PM and will be followed by an even later night performance by Groove Sect at 2 AM. Denson is in New Orleans for performances with the Greyboy Allstars aboard the Riverboat Cajun Queen (5/4) and Tipitina’s Uptown (5/5).
