moe. helped break in New Yorks new Highline Ballroom with a sold-out run at venue stretching from Wednesday, May 2, to Sunday, May 6. In total, the group offered 61 songs (give or take a reprise) over five nights, repeating no numbers in the process (though several compositions, including Rebubula and 32 Things, were stretched over multiple nights). moe.s repertoire spanned its career, ranging from early favorites like Bearsong to The Conch selections such as Lost Along the Way. Throughout the weekend, moe. also offered numerous teases of its long shelved Brain Tuba.

On Friday, longtime moe. associate Gordon Stone, who plays with guitarist Al Schnier in the Transamericans, added pedal steel to Happy Hour Hero, Waiting for the Punchline, and Punchline Reprise at the tail end of the groups first set. After their performance Saturday, Schnier, Vinnie Amico, and Jim Loughlin also ventured across town to Kenny’s Castaways to perform with fellow upstate New York combo Lynch.
Terry Lynch will have her chance to play the Highline this Wednesday when he opens for Amy Winehouse along with L*A*W*. moe. will perform next at Chillicothe, ILs Summer Camp on May 25.
