Camp Meeting is the title of the forthcoming release that draw together Bruce Hornsby and two celebrated figures from the realm of jazz, bassist Christian McBride and drummer Jack Dejohnette. The trio will mark the occasion by performing their first-ever live gig at New York Citys B. B. Kings Blues Club later this month. The three will appear at the club on May 23 to aid the JVC Jazz Festivals New York supports JazzReach program (which is dedicated to the promotion, performance, creation and teaching of jazz music). As part of this effort, in addition to regular general admission tickets, VIP packages are available that offer priority seating and a post-show reception with the trio.
