Pop singer Fiona Apple will join Nickel Creek on its ‘Farewell (For Now) Tour’ for what promises to be a highly collaborative series of shows. Apple first jammed with the members of Nickel Creek at Los Angeles Largo club several years ago and has remained close with the bluegrass group ever since. Throughout the tour, Apple is expected to collaborate with Nickel Creek on a regular basis. The outing, which is part of Nickel Creeks pre-hiatus tour, will kick off August 2 in Baltimore, MD and wrap-up August 19 in Westbury, NY. Nickel Creek has also confirmed that it will appear at Pagosa Springs, COs Four Corners Folk Festival on September 1, though the group has no plans past the end of 2007.
