A handful of additional acts have been added to the Disco Biscuits and Umphrey’s McGees D.U.M.B summer outing. On June 29, Conspirator, which features the Disco Biscuits Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner, will play a late night show at Raleigh, NCs Lincoln Theater after the D.U.M.B tours stop at the Lincoln Theater Street Festival. As he has on occasion, Umphreys McGee guitarist Jake Cinninger will perform with Conspirator at the late night gig.
A night later, on June 30, Perpetual Groove will join the Disco Biscuits and Umphreys McGee at Atlantas The Masquerade. After the Disco Biscuits and Umphrey’s McGee play, Perpetual Groove will offer a two-set show at The Masquerade’s indoor performance space.
The members of Perpetual Groove showed off their sit-in skills this weekend as well. During SeepeopleSs show at Huntsville, ALs Crossroads, Perpetual Grooves Adam Perry, Brock Butler and Albert Suttle emerged for an encore version of Radiohead’s National Anthem. Earlier in the evening, Butler also played lap steel guitar with the SeepeopleS on its original Oceans.
