Fans who stayed for Conspirator’s late night show at New York’s Highline Ballroom, following the Disco Biscuits’ performance that the same venue, were rewarded for their stamina with a handful of special guests. First, Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner’s fellow Disco Biscuit Jon Gutwillig emerged for a brief jam about forty minutes into the group’s set. Soon after, Brownstein and Magner’s Electron bandmates, Tom Hamilton and Joe Russo, took the stage for a run through the Conspirator song ‘Orch Theme.’ The early morning spot marked the first appearance by Electron since the 2006 edition of Langerado. The Disco Biscuits will perform again tonight at New York’s Highline Ballroom, while Conspirator is slated to open for Sound Tribe Sector 9 at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory tomorrow.
