Biscuits 2.0 Offer 2.5 Sets

For the fifth year in a row, the Disco Biscuits anchored Philadelphias Jam on the River festival last weekend. On Saturday, the quartet closed a jam-packed day which also included performances by Cypress Hill, Bustle in Your Hedgerow, Apollo Sunshine and Lotus, among others. After playing three songs, however, thundershowers abruptly ended the groups performance in the middle of Munchkin Invasion. The quartet soldiered on the following day at Philadelphias Electric Factory, finishing Munchkin Invasion and most of their written Jam on the River setlist, before offering their originally planned two set performance. In other Disco Biscuits news, the recharged group, affectionately dubbed Disco Biscuits 2.0, has added a pair of Midwest tour dates. The group will now perform at Columbia, MS the Blue Note on July 17 and Milwaukee, WIs the Rave on July 18 while traveling between the Trancegression and 10,000 Lakes Festivals.
