Following its debut in Woodstock, New York, the Lew-Au festival will move to Newport, VT this year. RAQ will host the two day event and perform at least five sets at Hillcrest Farm on July 21 and 22. Guitarist Chris Michetti has stated, It was important for us to have this in Vermont. We feel as though we represent it. We owe a lot to this state. This band grew up here together. We were conceived here. This is the most important gig of the year for us, possibly in our career and having it in Vermont just feels right.’ Both Strangefolk and Al & The Transamericans will offer rare appearances at Lew-Au II along with the Jaik Miller Band and The Brew, with ticket information and additional artist announcements to follow soon at the festival site.
