Last night, Tea Leaf Green supported fellow SCI Fidelity recording artist Railroad Earth at Fayetteville, ARs George’s Majestic. The evenings collaborations started early when Railroad Earths Andy Goessling joined Tea Leaf Green for Asphalt Funk. Shortly after, Railroad Earth fiddler Tim Carbone emerged for both The Garden (Part III) and Gasaholic. The same day Carbone also played an acoustic set with Tea Leaf Greens Trevor Garrod, Ben Chambers and Josh Clark on the University of Arkansas Honest Tunes Radio Show. In addition to several Tea Leaf Green originals, the set included a take on Daisy May and Seth Bernards Shine On, featuring Carbone on lead vocals, and a set closing version of John Prines Angel From Montgomery. Railroad Earth will appear at Little Rock, ARs Sticky Fingerz tonight, while Tea Leaf Green will headline Memphis Newbys.
