On Saturday night Yonder Mountain String Band charged into its show 1001 at the Minnesota Zoo’s Weisner Amphiteater. That evening, Jeff Austin who has recorded and gigged with the Big Wu’s Chris Castino put in a stint with another founding Wu guitarist. Austin joined Jason Fladager’s God Johnson at the Cabooze in Minneapolis, adding mandolin to the Talking Head’s ‘Crosseyed and Painless’ as well as God Johnson original, ‘Electric Shoes’.
