String Cheese Incident closed out its final run of northeast shows this weekend at New Yorks Beacon Theatre. On Friday, the group invited out an old friend, Soulives Eric Krasno, for a segment that included Texas and Footprints at the end of its first set. The energy remained high throughout String Cheese Incident second set as well, persuading the group to emerge for a second, standalone encore consisting of Shakin’ The Tree.

Saturdays performance also featured some noteworthy moments. During its first set the group ran through an acoustic segment consisting of Lonesome Pines, Good Times Around the Bend, Chili Dawg and Long Journey Home. Later on, the sextet closed its show with a fitting version of Way Back Home, which the group actually started at the beginning of its second set the night before. The String Cheese Incident will perform at Detroit Lakes, MNs 10,000 Lakes Festival this Friday.
