Once again Revenge of the Book Eaters will take place at New Yorks Beacon Theatre in August and once again the show will benefit the children’s writing center 826NYC. As usual the benefit has confirmed an impressive roster of musicians who will deliver work in a number of different settings. The New Pornographers C. Newman and My Morning Jackets Jim James will both perform solo, Feist will read from a book, Grizzly Bear will perform a full band, Sarah Vowell will speak and Demetri Martin will host the evenings festivities. Previous Revenge of the Book Eaters personalities have included everyone from David Byrne to Jon Stewart. Ticket for the event will be available tomorrow.
