Canadas Evolve Music and Awareness Festival will return to Antigonish, Nova Scotia. for an eighth year on August 3-5. Evolve has long defined itself as an independent alternative event and once again it will be utilizing renewable energy sources, reducing waste and environmental impact and most significantly providing a forum to network and learn more about social and environmental issues. In addition, Evolve aims to utilize recycled paper and vegetable-based inks for all printed materials, biodegradable plates and utensils for food vending, organic cotton and hemp t-shirts and more. The roster of performs includes: Keller Williams, Lotus, That One Guy and more than three dozen Canadian artists such as: King Sunshine, Do Make Say Think, The Irie Band, The Grassroot Deviation, Noises from the Toolshed, Hey Ocean!, Wintersleep, Grand Theft Bus and The Divorcees.
