Last week we reported on the fall tour pairing of JJ Grey & MOFRO along with Assembly of Dust. Prior to then however, over Labor Day Weekend, MOFRO will host its own event, the Blackwater Sol Revue. On September 2 the group will appear in St. Augustine, Florida at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, along with a number of acts selected by Grey. Also on board will be Los Lobos, Tony Joe White, The Legendary JC’s, The Lee Boys, Willie Green and Will Conner. Music starts at 2PM for what is billed as the 1st Annual Revue, suggesting that more will follow over the years to come.
