RatDogs summer tour with Keller Williams is currently rolling through the west. Last night, the tour hit Santa Fe, NMs Paolo Soleri Amphitheatre where Bob Weir sat in with Williams on ‘Deep Elem Blues’ and ‘Cumberland Blues. Later in the evening Williams appeared with RatDog on Friend of the Devil and Quinn the Eskimo. Earlier in the week the friends also collaborated at Morrison, COs Red Rocks Amphitheatre, where Williams played with RatDog on Loser and Brown-Eyed Women, while Weir jammed with his tour companion on ‘Dark Star.’

Last Friday the friends also played Dark Star together at Council Bluffs, IAs Harrah’s Council Bluffs where Williams appeared on a lengthy segment connecting the early, signature Grateful Dead song to Black Peter, China Cat Sunflower and I Know You Rider. Of course, Weir also played with Williams, adding guitar and vocals to ‘Wake Up Little Susie’ and ‘Friend of the Devil.’ The tour will roll on Friday in San Diego, CA.
