Sirius Satellite Radio will air a sneak preview of its highly anticipated Grateful Dead Channel between August 1 and 9, the period connecting Jerry Garcias birthday to the anniversary of his death. The new Grateful Dead station will take over Sirius Jam_On for this special preview, which will feature commentary from Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Phil Lesh and Bill Kreutzmann, as well as rare archival interviews with Jerry Garcia. Jam_On, which features Relix/Jambands.com Marketing Director Jon Schwartz on air each morning, will return to its regular programming on August 10.
