Due to the fact that Jilian Nershi recently fell and experienced a concussion, Honkytonk Homeslice has been forced to cancel its plans to perform and record over the next two evenings at Mississippi Studios in Portland, OR. Jilian is reportedly on the road to recovery but requires quiet rest, forcing the band to alter its plans. However, one member of Homeslice will indeed perform at the venue tonight as Scott Law will make a live recording with the Piano Throwers, a group that also features Tye North (Leftover Salmon) and Carlton Jackson. While Honkytonk Homeslice had been slated to perform on both Tuesday and Wednesday, the Piano Throwers will only appear tonight.
