Perpetual Groove will contrast its relatively light summer tour schedule with some intensive gigging over the coming months. The band is acknowledging its return to steady duty by dubbing these shows the Serious Business Tour. Once more PGroove will manifest its commitment to environmentally-responsible touring through a partnership with the Green Mountain Energy Company, offsetting emissions through renewable energy credits. As for the gigs themselves, notable performances will include a Halloween gig at the Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, as well as a two night stand at the years end on December 30 and 31 at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotte, NC. Beyond that, the group has confirmed a number of shows that will take the quartet from its native Georgia up though the northeast and off to the Midwest. Perpetual Groove will next gig on August 17 an 18 at the Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, FL before a show at the Variety Playhouse on August 31.
