Perkins Enlists moe., Gent Treadly Members for Maine Banyan; Kimock Back on Board This Weekend

On August 17-19, Janes Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins will assemble another version of Banyan for a weekend of dates in Maine. Joining Perkins will be steady Banyan mate Willy Waldman on trumpet along with occasional collaborators Greg Koerner (Gent Treadly) on bass and moe.s Jim Loughlin behind the kit. Performing on guitar will be Dave Berg (Lost Marbles, Michael Falzarano) for the shows that will take place at the Asylum in Portland, ME (Friday, August 17) and then the following two days at the 26th annual Hempstock in Starks, ME.

Meanwhile, this coming Saturday and Sunday nights, guitarist Steve Kimock will return to the stage with Banyan. Kimock had been slated to make a number of summer appearances with Perkins and Company, however, he was forced to cancel these shows after he stepped in for Mark Karan on RatDog tour. These shows will take place in Denver at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom.
