Longtime friends ALO and New Monsoon recently completed a four day night run of shows throughout the pacific Northwest. The groups collaborated on several occasions throughout the run, most notably at Vancouvers Richard’s on Richards where, as a nod to Jerry Garcias birthday, the two groups played a series of Garcia tunes. The mini-set including such standout selections as Bird Song, Eyes of the World and They Love Each Other. ALO will appear at Solana Beach, CAs Belly Up Tavern on August 15, while New Monsoon will play Tahoe City, CAs River Ranch tonight.
