On Friday and Saturday Umphreys McGee opened for Dave Matthews Band at Noblesville, INs famed Verizon Wireless Music Center (a venue better known as Deer Creek). While the groups did not collaborate onstage, Dave Matthews did bring out his longtime engineer, and former Egypt guitarist, Joe Lawlor for a version of #41. In addition, Matthews offered a number he wrote after his trip to Africa with Trey Anastasio, Eh Hee, for the first time with the full Dave Matthews Band. The group will appear at Cuyahoga Falls, OHs Blossom Music Center tonight.

Matthews is also offering fans a chance to win a free trip to see Dave Matthews Band play with the Allman Brothers band at Atlantas Piedmont Park on September 8. The winner and guest will have exclusive access to the shows lounge area and will also receive an autographed copy of Matthews new Live at Radio City, which was recorded at the Green Apple Music & Arts festival this spring. The winner will also be able to meet the bands namesake himself. Please click here for more information.
