Steve Kimock, who just wrapped up the summer RatDog tour, will return to his steady stomping grounds at George’s Majestic Lounge in Fayetteville, AR on September 8 and 9. On these two evenings, which will serve as part of George’s 80th Anniversary Celebration, Kimock will be joined by George Porter Jr. on bass, Jeff Sipe behind the kit, Melvin Seals on keys, vocalist Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay and guitarist Steve Pryor. On both nights music will extend from 7PM to 2AM, with a number of other artists on the bill. Saturday the 8th also will feature Porter-Batiste-Stoltz, Mike Dillon’s Go Go Jungle and The Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band. Sunday the 9th will offer Paul Barrere & Fred Tackett, Outformation and Mountain of Venus. Ticket prices are being held down in conjunction with the festive nature of this event, with single day entrance at $20 and two day passes at $35.
