The Allman Brothers Band recruited a second group of relatives, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, for a series of Midwest shows over the weekend. On Friday the Allman Brothers Band headlined Clarkston, MIs DTE Energy Music Theatre and brought out
Randolph during its encore for both Turn On Your Lovelight and One May Out. Then, on Saturday, the Allman Brothers Band invited another blues-based guitarist to the stage, onetime Phil Lesh & Friends member Larry McCray, for Southbound during its encore at Petoskey, MIs Boyne Mountain. Finally, last night, the Allman Brothers Band bookended its performance at Milwaukee, WIs Riverside Theater with a version of Mountain Jam, before inviting out Randolph for Southbound during its encore.

The Allman Brothers will perform at St. Pauls Minnesota State Fair tomorrow. Robert Randolph and the Family Band will once again supply support duties,
