The Allman Brothers Bands summer tour is currently routing towards Colorado for a performance at Jazz Aspen Snowmass this Sunday. Last night the group performed at Illinois Rosemont Theatre and brought out bassist Greg Rzabfor a version of The Sky is Crying. In addition to his work with everyone from Jimmy Page to Buddy Guy, Rzab is one of the many musicians who performed with Govt Mule during its Deep End period following the death of Allen Woody. On Tuesday the Allman Brothers Band also invited out its opening act Robert Randolph for a version of One Way Out during its encore at S. Pauls Minnesota State Fair.

Harrah’s Stir Cove tomorrow. Warren Haynes will then offer a solo performance at Fort Collins, COs Mishawaka Amphitheatre this Saturday.
