Steve Kimock has assembled an intriguing lineup for his performances at Fayetteville, ARs George’s 80th Anniversary Music Festival this weekend. The event will take place from September 8-9, featuring a group of friends consisting of Kimock, bassist George Porter Jr., drummer Jeff Sipe, keyboardist Melvin Seals, vocalist Donna Jean Godchaux-MacKay and guitarist Steve Pryor. In addition, Saturdays lineup will feature music by PBS, Mike Dillon’s Go Go Jungle and The Rev. Peyton’s Big Damn Band, while Sundays festivities will boast appearances by Little Feats Paul Bararre & Fred Tackett, Outformation and Mountain of Venus.

Looking ahead, Kimock will play with an eclectic mix of musicians before rejoining RatDog for a run of fall shows. On September 23 the guitarist will perform with the
Symbiotic Orchestra at Angels Camp, CAs Symbiosis Gathering, from September 28-29 he will play with Banyan at San Franciscos 12 Galaxies and on October 5 Kimock will play with Porter and Robert Walter at Teaneck, NJs Mexicali Blues. Kimock will then hit the road with RatDog for an extended tour scheduled to kick off October 26 at
Hampton Beach, NHs Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom.
