New Deal performances have been relatively scarce over the past year bassist Dan Kurtz focuses on his indie-pop band Dragonette. But, this fall, the Canadian trio will reunite for a brief fall tour. The band will hit some of its favorite clubs, including Rochesters Water Street Music Hall (10/18), Ithaca, NYs Castaways (10/19), Northampton, MAs Pearl Street Nightclub (11/29), South Burlington, VTs Higher Ground (11/30) and Hamilton, NYs Palace Theatre (12/1). The group is likely to pickup a few more performances in additional markets in the coming weeks. Before then, the New Deals Darren Shearer and Jamie Shields will play a series of fall dates with STS9 bassist David Murphy as The Join. As of press time, the trio has confirmed three Colorado shows in mid-October: Fort Collinss Aggie Theatre (10/11), Boulders Fox Theatre (10/12) and Denvers Bluebird Theatre (10/13).
