The Beacon Theatre will once again serve as the locale for Gov’t Mule’s New Year’s Eve run. The group will perform three shows at the Beacon, on Friday December 28th, Saturday December 29th and Monday December 31st. The theme for this year’s New Year’s Eve performance will be ‘Winter of Love,’ with additional details yet to be announced.
Last night the Mule performed what will be its final New York City date prior to the Beacon dates. The shows at Rumsey Playfield in Central Park featured an extended single set, with guest vocals from Machan and Elaine Caswell on ‘A Million Miles From Yesterday’ and ‘Unring the Bell,’ as well as an appearance by Late Night with Conan O’Brien guitarist Jimmy Vivino on the three song encore: ’32-20 Blues,’ ‘Come On Into My Kitchen,’ and ‘Gonna Send You Back to Georgia.’
This evening Gov’t Mule will travel to Boston for a show at the Bank of American Pavilion with opening sets from Grace Potter & The Nocturnal and Earl Greyhound.
