Soon after co-headlining Farm Aid last night, Neil Young has confirmed a handful of dates in support of his new album Chrome Dreams II. As previously reported, the disc features many songs intended for the Youngs fabled, never released 1970s Chrome Dreams disc. For the trek, Youngs backing band will include multi-instrumentalist Ben Keith, drummer Ralph Molina and bassist Rick Rosas. Youngs wife Pegi, who has backed him on occasion, will supply opening duties. The guitarists tour will kick off October 18 at Boise, IDs Morrison Center and hit markets across the country before concluding with a two night stand at New Yorks United Palace Theater from December 12-13.
