As we have previously reported, the forthcoming Black Crowes studio disc will contain contributions from North Mississippi Allstars Luther Dickinson. Over the past weekend, Dickinson demonstrated his familiarity with the groups back catalogue during a performance at the Telluride Brews and Blues Festival. With the groups current guitarist Paul Stacey not on hand, Dickinson sat in throughout the groups two hour set, which included such songs as Wiser Time, Sting Me, She Talks To Angels and Remedy. The Black Crowes will begin their fall tour proper on September 28 at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in Bend, OR.
