Conspirator, which features bassist Marc Brownstein and keyboardist Aron Magner, has used the downtime before the Disco Biscuits extended fall tour to workup some new material and play a handful of clubs gigs. While in Colorado earlier this month, the duo tweaked live favorites by both the Disco Biscuits and Magners Moshi Moshi band for the more electronic-oriented Conspirator, including Abraxas, 42 and Oname Wa. This Friday Conspirator will play another late night show at New Yorks BB King Blues Club and the paired performers have already confirmed that at a special guest will join the group onstage. Though the mystery guest remains unknown, all eyes are on the Nokia Theater, where a bunch of Conspirator’s close friends will be performing earlier that night. Conspirators show is scheduled to begin at 2 AM Friday night (technically Saturday morning).
