Our second Hawaiian story this week focuses on the Derek Trucks Band, who will mount a brief tour of the 50th state this December. After touring Japan, the Derek Trucks Band will hit a number of Hawaiian islands, making stops at Kahuluis Maui Arts & Cultural Center (12/4), Lihues Kilohana Plantation (12/5), Honolulus Aloha Tower Marketplace (12/7) and Hilos The Palace Theater (12/8). The groups Hawaiian shows are its last confirmed dates before linking up with the rest of the Soul Stew Revival for a short holiday outing. The Derek Trucks Band will appear at Norfolk, VAs NorVa Theatre on October 2.
