Hot Buttered Railroad Earth

Hot Buttered Rum is currently on the road supporting fellow improvisational roots-rockers Railroad Earth. On Monday, the two groups appeared at Tulsa, OK s

Cain’s Ballroom and, early in the evening, fans were treated two some cross-pollination among the two outfits. During Hot Buttered Rums set, Railroad Earth saxophonist Andy Goessling appeared on Beneath The Blossoms, before the groups mandolinist John Skehan sat-in on a set closing version of the Grateful Deads Cumberland Blues. The following night, while performing at Kansas City, MOs The Crossroads, Railroad Earth fiddler Tim Carbone made his way to the stage with Hot Buttered Rum for Lucy and Return Some Day, shortly before Goessling returned for a take on Well-Oiled Machine. Tonight the traveling package will perform at Englewood, COs Gothic Theater. To hear members of the two groups play together on Relix Radio, please click here.
