The Avett Brothers and David Grisman are among the acts scheduled to appear at the first annual Chicago Bluegrass & Blues Festival. The single-day event will take place from noon until 11 PM at the Chicago Theater, benefiting the research efforts of the Chicago-based Saving Tiny Hearts Foundation and their efforts to cure birth defects. Other acts scheduled to appear include Ha Ha Tonka, Lil’ Ed & the Blues Imperials, Majors Junction, Dollar Store, Blue Mother Tupelo, Billy Childers, How Far to Austin, Blackdog, Mike Mangione, Cobalt & The Hired Guns, Lindsey O’Brien & Friends, Blue Room Hero and Jessica Lee.
