The latest installment in the JamCam Chronicles ongoing DVD series is a two-disc set documenting Jam Cruise 5. The episode is hosted by JC5 ‘Cruise Director,’ and Jambands.com columnist, Annabel ‘Julie McCoy’ Lukins and was shot with 24p film-look technology. DVD highlights include the first-time pairing of JJ Grey (MOFRO) with Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), the DVD debut of Ivan Nevilles Dumpstaphunk, a beach set by Hot Buttered Rum and the New Sounds of San Francisco supergroup that drew together ALO, Hot Buttered Rum, Tea Leaf Green, Steve Kimock, Donna Jean Godchaux and a number of other musicians for a Grateful Dead tribute. Other groups featured include Umphrey’s McGee, Deep Banana Blackout, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Jeff Austin & Brendan Bayliss with special guest Jake Cinninger, the Disco Biscuits, The New Mastersounds, Zero, Railroad Earth, Galactic, the Greyboy Allstars and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band, among others.
