Last night Umphreys McGee closed closed out its three night stand at Higher Ground in South Burlington, VT. The run culminated with appearances from two area residents. Towards the end of the first set, Turkey Bouillon Mafia guitarist Benny Yurco stepped up for ‘In the Kitchen’ and ‘Great American.’ Then, late in the second set, the rude vulgar musical Stand up comedy of Touchpants was represented by Chris Friday, who given the rude vulgar musical Stand up comedy of Touchpants, contributed vocals to a fitting cover of ZZ Top’s ‘Pearl Necklace.’ Umphrey’s McGee closes out its East Coast tour tonight in Boston at the Orpheum.
