A number of familiar faces took the stage with Widespread Panic at North Charleston, SCs North Charleston Coliseum this weekend. On Friday Outformation supplied support duties and guitarist Sam Holt, who served as Michael Housers tech. for years, took the stage for Panics Tie Your Shoes and J.J. Cales Ride Me High, before Outformation percussionist Jeff ‘Birddog’ Lane made his way to the stage for an extended drum segment. During the groups opening set Jimmy Herring also stepped out a bit early for versions of Cant Change the Past and Titles of Movies Will Not Appear on Bill.
Then, on night two, Randall Bramblett opened and performed with Widespread Panic on Second Skin and Flat Foot Flewzy. Widespread Panic will appear at Miami Beach, FLs The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theatre tomorrow evening.
