Dispatch DVD to Document MSG Shows

After shocking even industry insiders by selling out New Yorks Madison Square Garden for three nights in a row this summer, Dispatch will release a concert film documenting its recent reunion. Dispatch: Zimbabwe Live at Madison Square Garden follows the trios on-going efforts to raise money for the frightening situation in

Zimbabwe and will include 2 hours of live concert footage and behind the scenes interviews. The DVD will be sold in eco-friendly recycled packaging and come with a ten-song companion CD of the band’s favorite performances from the reunion dates. Also inserted in each package will be a DropCard, allowing fans to download audio from the DVD. The set, which was directed by longtime Relix contributor Danny Clinch, will hit stores on January 29.
A portion of the net proceeds from Dispatch: Zimbabwe – Live at Madison Square Garden will also be donated to the Dispatch Foundation and its efforts in Zimbabwe. The films setlist includes Here We Go, Open Up, The General, Bats In The Belfry, a series of collaborations with the African Childrens Choir and a pair of songs recorded on the roof of the groups fabled van Wimpy in the middle of MSGs floor. As of press time, Dispatch has no future reunion plans.
