Dave Matthews Band spent the past two nights performing at West Point, NYs Eisenhower Hall Theater as part of the AT&T sponsored World’s Loudest Pep Rally. The students at the United States Military Academy scored the final two DMB performances of 2007 by Dave Matthews Band by sending in the most text message invites of any school in the country. Robert Randolph & the Family Band supported the group on both nights and the pedal steel ace appeared with the evenings headliner on Louisiana Bayou Wednesday and All Along the Watchtower on Thursday. Perhaps because of his surroundings, Matthews also omitted the line lights down you up and die’ during Ants Marching last night.

The gigs marked Dave Matthews Bands final confirmed appearances for the 2007 calendar year. The group will release the new album Live at Piedmont Park, which features appearances by Gregg Allman and Warren Haynes, later this year. Fans who pre-order the live album will also receive a disc of additional 2007 tour highlights.
