Govt Mule and Grace Potter closed out their extended tour over the weekend with a final pair of performances. On Friday the new friends played Seattles The Moore Theatre and Potter took the stage with Govt Mule for a now familiar take on Al Greens Take Me to the River (one of the most popular covers from the Mules tour with Potter), while Nocturnals guitarist Soctt Tournet played on a version of 32-20 Blues that segued into a freeform drum jam. Finally, on Saturday the tour concluded at Bozeman, MTs Gallatin County Fairgrounds where Potter appeared on a cover of the Rolling Stones Wild Horses at the end of Govt Mules first set. Then, at the end of the night, Potter returned with the rest of the Nocturnals for a mammoth show closing version of Neil Youngs Cortez the Killer. Both groups will appear at Warren Haynes Christmas Jam December 15.
