Cincinnatis Freekbass has built a loyal local following over the years and this past weekend took home the Cincinnati Entertainment Award (CEA) for Best Funk/R&B Band. The evening marked the 6th consecutive year that Freekbass has taken home the honor and, by all accounts, the ceremony featured some memorable performances. The group will celebrate with a gig at Cincinnatis 20th Century Theatre tomorrow night. The night will be hosted by Bootsy & Patti Collins and will also feature SHAG and Animal Crackers.
