On Saturday Keller Williams hosted an intimate evening of music at Ft. Collins, COs The Aggie Theatre comprised of cover songs and a few new originals. In the weeks before the show, Williams solicited a handful requests from his fans online and to run through an incredible range of material at his gig. The night began the guitarists trademark medley of Phishs Runaway Jim and Run Like an Antelope and included such eclectic covers as the Grateful Deads Shakedown Street, Jack Straw, Wharf Rat and Eyes of the World, Dire Straits Sultans of Swing, Peter Rowans

Thirsty in the Rain, the Bee Gees Night Fever, G. Loves Back of the Bus,
the Replacements Bastards of Young, the Beatles I Dig a Pony, Widespread Panics Space Wrangler, Kenny Loggins I’m Alright, Led Zeppelins Dancing Days,
Sublimes What I Got, Presidents of the United States of Americas Lump,
AfroMans Tumbleweed, Michael Jacksons Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough, a package of The Butthole Surfers Pepper and Peter Toshs Legalize It and Ani DiFrancos Out of Range. Williams also nodded to his friends Yonder Mountain String Band by covering their Steep Grades, Sharp Curves first set and New Horizons second set. The night ended with a version of Princes Kiss and an encore of the original Freshies of his new compilation album 12. Keller Williams will appear at the Caribbean Holidaze event on December 13.
