This week SIRIUS Satellite Radio offers some additional programming of interest to our readers. SIRIUS Blues, Channel 74, is focusing on the Allman Brothers band this week. From 6-7 p.m. ET a band member will pick an hour’s worth of music and relate these songs to ‘the blues roots of the Allmans sound.’ Gregg Allman was up yesterday, with Oteil Burbridge on board today, followed by Jaimoe, Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes. An Allman A Day The Allman Brothers Band Plays the Blues is then rebroadcast each night at 1 a.m. ET.
