On Friday Brothers Past performed their final 2007 show at New Yorks Highline Ballroom, capping off their performance with the appropriate original, Everything Must Go (from 2005s Jammy nominated This Feelings Called Goodbye). The gig is expected to be the groups final show for a period of time, while guitarist Tom Hamilton works on American Babies and bassist Clay Parnell focuses on his new band with drummer Johnny Rabb, BioDiesel. The latter group will play a series of shows beginning February 1 at Nashville, TNs Windows on the Cumberland and culminate with a pair of interlocking sets with Conspirator at New Yorks Studio B on February 16. As for Hamilton, the guitarist made a surprise appearance with The Join during their performance at Baltimores Sonar on Saturday, performing alternately on both guitar and bass. The Join will celebrate New Years Eve at New Yorks Highline Ballroom.
