Celebrated sacred steel artists, the Lee Boys will open up their 2008 tour itinerary tonight in Austin. There the group will appear at Antone’s on a bill with 94 year old blues pianist (and longtime Muddy Waters associate) Pinetop Perkins. The group will remain on the road though January 26, traveling from the Southwest up to the Midwest. A bit later in the year, the Lee Boys will perform at a number of festivals including Langerado, Suwannee Springfest and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
