This evening at the Boulder Theater, Great American Taxi will headline a benefit for Boulder, COs Watershed School. Also on the bill for the charitable performance will be Jeff Austin and Friends. It now turns out that this will be the first of two gigs, for the Yonder Mountain String Band mandolin player and his pals. On Friday night an Austin and Friends show also will take place at the Shining Star Cafe in Nederland, CO. Austin is expected to be joined by numerous players at these shows, including his Yonder bandmate Ben Kaufmann and the group’s longtime collaborator Benny Galloway.
