Over the weekend, Bonerama will perform two east coast gigs that will aid New Orleans musicians. On Friday night the group will appear at Baltimore’s 8 × 10, with $2 from each ticket price directed to assist Dirty Dozen Brass Band Kirk Joseph. Then on Saturday the group will collaborate with the indie-rock group OK Go (as the two bands did on their recording You’re Not Alone). This show at Washington D.C.‘s 9:30 Club will aid Crescent City resident Al ‘Carnival Time’ Johnson as well as the organization Sweet Home New Orleans, which is assisting NoLa musicians displaced by Hurricane Katrina.
